    Does anybody have plans for 405-8H speakers enclosures. I just bought a pair and I would like to build the right enclosures for those speakers.

    Thanks, Rick

    Greets!

    Plans?! What plans? These are designed for standard 0.5 ft^3 ceiling pots, so converted to a golden ratio cab (inside dims): ~15.41" x 9.53" x 5.88". Smoothest response occurs with the driver down ~7.13" from top (inside).

    For other alignments, measured specs are required.

    Then there's the 'Arkie' alignment, a deep, heavily-stuffed 8" plastic salad bowl....you can add 3 spikes each for that high-end look and to make 'em hold still... forums

    The linked page doesn't translate worth a hoot, but you might get some ideas from the pictures of this unique DIY;

    Looks like a lot of trouble to go through for a $34 EV ceiling speaker to me, but maybe not.

    I couldn't find it, but you reminded me that there was a Japanese site that used these in 1/4 scale 825 cabs.

    i did a backloaded bass horn and they sound AMAZING making punch from 50+ cps. Maybe a little laid back on the top end. No sub necessary, but the best electronics you can afford. Should work with those flea powered tube amps, i use 6 Watts Class A SS amp...

    enjoy,
